Golden Set To Appear At Sportsline Season Premiere Monday 5:30 At Joe's Inn Bon Air

The season premiere of the Spider Sportsline with men's basketball coach Chris Mooney live at Joe's Inn Bon Air is set for this Monday, Nov. 27 from 5:30-6:30pm. Redshirt freshman and Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week Grant Golden is scheduled to be this week's player guest.

Fans, alums and corporate partners are encouraged to attend and enjoy Joe's Inn food and drink menu and specials. The popular radio show can be heard on ESPN 950AM, 102.7FM and RichmondSpiders.com. It is also available on mobile devices and by dialing the AudioNow Call to Listen line at 712-770-9500.

Joe's Inn Bon Air is located at 2616 Buford Road in the Bon Air Shopping Center at the corner of Buford Road and Forest Hill Avenue, just a short distance from campus. Plenty of free parking is available.

Golden is coming off his first career double-double, with 24 points and 10 rebounds in Saturday's game against Georgetown. In the Cayman Islands Classic, he poured in a career high 26 against UAB and 24 vs. Louisiana. Golden was named to the All Tournament Team. He currently leads the team in scoring (16.2) and is second in rebounding (6.2). For the week, Golden averaged 19.5 points and 6.3 rebounds in the Spiders' four games while shooting 59 percent from the field.

Spider Club members can register at Joe's Inn Bon Air during the program by showing their Spider Club membership card to win a Spider Fan Pack of great prizes at the end of the season. Chances of winning increase by attending and registering each week.

Patrons at the show can enjoy food and drink from Joe's Inn menu, and talk Spider and college basketball with Coach Mooney and player guests. Mondays are already special at Joe's Inn Bon Air as kids age 12 and under eat free with a paid adult entree, and now they will be able to meet Coach Mooney and guests while enjoying dinner during the show.

Joe's Inn Bon Air is open seven days a week serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday through Saturday 9am to 10pm, and Sunday 9am to 10pm. A Sunday breakfast buffet is offered 9am to 2pm.
