Fore, Johnson Join Coach Mooney On Sportsline Monday At 5:30 From Joe's Inn Bon Air

Richmond's two most experienced players, juniors Khwan Fore and Julius Johnson, will join head coach Chris Mooney on the Spider Sportsline, which will be held at Joe's Inn Bon Air on MLK Day, this Monday, Jan. 15. The live radio program airs from 5:30-6:30 pm on 99.5 & 102.7 ESPN and ESPN 950 as well as Richmond Spiders.com. It is also available on mobile devices and by dialing the AudioNow Call to Listen line at 712-770-9500.

Fore, who has played in 87 games in his career, has scored in double figures in seven of the past eight games, including a season-high 15 points against Dayton, and 11 key second-half points, punctuated by a breakaway two-hand dunk, in the victory over George Washington. The Hunstville, Alabama native is averaging 10.2 points per game this season.

Johnson has played in 78 Spider games in his career. Coming off the bench, he has been Richmond's leading scorer in two of the past four games, including a career-high 17 points with a career-best five three pointers in Tuesday's game against Dayton. The Cocoa, Florida native is shooting 50 percent from three point range over the past nine games (14-28).

The Spiders are coming off a 78-68 victory over long-time rival George Washington Saturday afternoon at the Robins Center. All five Spider starters scored in double figures, led by freshmen Grant Golden (24 points) and Jacob Gilyard (19 points). In the 99th meeting between the schools, Richmond beat the Colonials for the fourth straight time. Monday's show will include a recap of the Dayton and GW games and a preview of Wednesday's Lumber Liquidators Capital City Classic matchup at crosstown rival VCU.

Mondays are already special at Joe's Inn Bon Air as kids age 12 and under eat free with a paid adult entree, and now they will be able to meet Coach Mooney and guests while enjoying dinner during the show.

Joe's Inn Bon Air is open seven days a week serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday through Saturday 9am to 10pm, and Sunday 9am to 10pm. A Sunday breakfast buffet is offered 9am to 2pm.
