Noah Yates To Appear On Spider Sportsline At Glory Days Grill Monday At 5:30
12/02/2018 | Men's Basketball
The Spider Sportsline will return to Glory Days Grill, 10466 Ridgefield Parkway in the Gleneagles Shopping Center, this Monday, Dec. 3 from 5:30-6:30pm. The program features head men's basketball coach Chris Mooney and special player guest Noah Yates as well as interaction from listeners and fans attending the show.
Yates, a 6-foot-5 graduate student forward, enjoyed his finest game as a Spider in Saturday's historic victory over Wake Forest. The Yale transfer, and former football player, scored eight points, including draining two three-pointers, and grabbed five rebounds in 16 minutes. The Spider bench, led by Yates, contributed 19 points.
Monday's show will also include a recap of the triumph over Wake Forest, celebrating Coach Mooney's 240th Spider victory, making him the program's all-time winningest coach, as well as a look back at the Georgetown game and a look ahead to Wednesday's home contest against Coppin St.
The Spider Sportsline is hosted by "Voice of the Spiders" Bob Black, and can be heard live on ESPN Richmond's 99.5 & 102.7 FM and 950 AM, as well as online at RichmondSpiders.com, espnrichmond.com, and on the TuneIn app. An audio archive of each week's show is available on the SpiderTV page and in the Audio Vault at espnrichmond.com. Fans in attendance will be able to hear the live program directly on Glory Days Grill's table top audio boxes by tuning to Channel 3.
Fans, alums and corporate partners are encouraged to attend the live show at the West End Glory Days Grill location. Listeners can call-in during the program at 804-521-8501. Emails, texts and tweets can be sent anytime.
