UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- The 9-1 Richmond Spiders are hitting the road.Â
After playing seven of their first 10 games of the season at the Robins Center, the Spiders will travel to Norfolk, Va. and Washington, D.C. for games against Old Dominion and Radford this week.Â
On Wednesday, Richmond faces Old Dominion at the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk. The Spiders will be seeking to snap a three-game losing streak against ODU and looking for their first road win against the Monarchs since 2012. The game will be streamed nationally on WatchESPN and is available to all ESPN cable subscribers. Regionally, the game will also be shown on WTVRÂ Channel 6-3, which is channel 206 for Comcast subscribers and channel 466 for Verizon Fios subscribers in the area. Tickets are available for as low as $15.
After a few days on campus, the Spiders will head up I-95 to take on Radford as part of the DC Holiday Hoops Fest showcase on Sunday. It will be Richmond's 20th meeting with Radford. The Spiders have won 17 of the previous 19 matchups against the Highlanders. The game, which will be played at Entertainment & Sports Arena in Congress Heights, can only viewed via FloHoops. Tickets to the event are available at DCHolidayHoopsFest.com. $10 tickets are available for groups of eight or more through Wednesday.Â
Following Christmas break, the Spiders will conclude their non-conference scheduled with a trip to Alabama to face the Crimson Tide on December 29th.Â
