Registration Underway For 2019 Spider Soccer Summer Camps

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond women's soccer team has announced registration for their 2019 Spider Soccer Summer Camps is live.

The first camp is the Spider Soccer Academy Day Camps from July 22-25. The camp will take place at the University of Richmond River Road Fields. Registration and check in will start at 8:30 a.m. on the field. There is a full day option (9:00am – 4:00pm) and half day option (9:00 am – 12:00 pm) for any and all boys and girls ages 6 – 12 years old.

Also, there will be a Spider Soccer Junior Academy designed for the youngest players (ages 3-5) to introduce them to the amazing sport of soccer in a fun and dynamic way. The 90-minute sessions (9:00am – 10:30am) are perfect for any and all boys and girls ages 3 – 5 years old. Each camper will receive a soccer ball and t-shirt.

The Spider Elite Residential Academy from July 26-28 and is open to any and all girls ages 9-18 years. The Spider Soccer Elite Residential Academy will expose players to the technical and tactical demands of the game by focusing on improving each player's speed of play through training sessions, small sided games, and 11v11 / 9v9 matches.

The final camp will be the Soccer Team Camp from July 26-28 and is open to any and all girls ages 9-18 years. The Spider Team Camp will expose players to the technical and tactical demands of the game by focusing on improving each player's speed of play through training sessions, small sided games, and 11v11 / 9v9 matches. Teams will have multiple technical/functional training sessions as well to improve the specific demands for each position group.

Cost: $250 Full Day Camp / $150 Half Day / $75 Spider Juniors
Discounts: Registrants may obtain either a multiple sibling discount ($10 off per sibling) or a UR staff discount of 10% (faculty not eligible; qualifying relationships include parents, legal guardian, or grandparents). Only one discount may be applied per order.
Walkups will be accepted as long as the program does not fill.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: Each registration includes a $50 nonrefundable deposit and a $6.50 nonrefundable processing fee. No refunds will be processed after July 5, 2019, excepting medical circumstances in which documentation will be required. NO REFUNDS will be issued once camp starts excepting medical circumstances.

- Residential = $350
- Commuter = $310
  - For U13 – U19 teams…must have a minimum of 12 players
  - For U11 – U12 teams…must have a minimum of 10 players
- If 10 or more players do not sign up prior to the event, you will be responsible to pay the individual rate ($475 for residential / $435 for commuter).
Discounts: Early Bird Discount
