Behind The Web With Coach Chris Mooney Premieres Monday At 6pm On ESPN Richmond
11/27/2020 | General, Men's Basketball, Spider Athletic Fund
On the heels of the Spiders statement victory Sunday at No. 10 Kentucky, the season premiere of Behind The Web with Head Men's Basketball Coach Chris Mooney is set to air live Monday November 30 from 6-7pm on ESPN Richmond and RichmondSpiders.com.   The show will also feature Bluegrass Showcase tournament Most Valuable Player Nathan Cayo. The in-studio style program will be held virtually due to Covid-19 guidelines.
Cayo scored 41 points in the two games at Rupp Arena, including tying his career-high with 23 points on 10 for 10 shooting in the opening night victory over Morehead State. The 6-7 senior from Montreal becomes the seventh Atlantic 10 player all-time to shoot 10 for 10 better.  He followed that performance with 18 points against Kentucky, finishing the two-game tourney shooting 18-23 from the floor.
