Golden scored 15 points in the 19th-ranked Spiders victory over Wofford in the home opener Monday. His critical three-pointer with 2:08 remaining ignited a 6-0 Richmond run that erased a five-point deficit. Golden was named to the Bluegrass Showcase All-Tournament team last week after averaging 14.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists in the Spiders' two wins at Rupp Arena. The Winchester, Va. native is currently on the Kareem Abdul Jabbar watch list, which honors the nation's top center.
In addition to Golden's appearance on the show, Coach Mooney and host Bob Black, the Voice of the Spiders, will talk about the long layoff, wrap up Monday's game against Wofford, and preview the week ahead with games scheduled against Northern Iowa Wednesday and at nationally-ranked West Virginia Sunday. Plus, there will be information on radio, television and live video streaming for those games.
The program, airing live on ESPN 99.5 and 102.7 FM and 950 AM, will be archived on the SpiderTV On Demand page and in the Audio Vault at espnrichmond.com.Â
Behind The Web with Coach Chris Mooney is presented by Food Lion, Luck Chevrolet, BrightSuite, CarMax and Geico. The program will return to Monday night next week, Dec. 14, then take a two-week holiday hiatus, returning Monday January 4, 2021, with shows scheduled to air each week through the remainder of the college basketball season.Â

Behind The Web is a production of the Spider Sports Network from Learfield IMG College and ESPN Richmond, the radio home of the Spiders for 15 consecutive years.
