Swimming and Diving Signs Five For Its Incoming Class

RICHMOND, Va. – Richmond swimming and diving head coach Matt Barany has announced the signing of five student-athletes for this incoming class. The class represents four states from up and down the east coast and consists of five swimmers.
"These women are very strong students and we see incredible upside in their swimming potential." Said head coach Matt Barany, "We feel very lucky to have them join our community."
Laura Davis is a Charlotte, North Carolina-native where she went to Providence High School. She competed for SwimMAC Carolina under head coach Sean Quinn.
The lone Virginia-native in the class comes from Charlottesville. Abby Fuller attended Fluvanna County HS, home of the Flying Flucos. She competed at the club level with ACAC and worked under coaches Helen Dixon and Chris Taylor.
Carstyn Klosterman is from Winston-Salem, N.C. She swam for the TYDE swim team and the Forsyth Country Day Furies. She was coached by Bob Jennings, George Valhos, Robin Jacobs and Nathan Durell.
The following swimmers hail from the northeast. Christina Levins, a Moorestown, New Jersey product, competed with the MLY Phoenix and the Moorestown Friends School Girls Swim Team. She was coached by Chris Brookover.
Leigh Spicer from Cohassat, Mass. rounds out this year's class. Spicer competed with Kingfish Swimming and worked with coaches Jay Craft, Lauren Brown and Jack Folcarellis.
