Spiders Close Fall Season at Jimmy Powell Invite

ELON, N.C. – The University of Richmond women's tennis team closed out its fall slate on Sunday with day two of the Jimmy Powell Invitational hosted by Elon. The Spiders faced Coastal Carolina in a round of doubles before taking on Elon and UNC Greensboro in singles.
"Carly Cohen and Marta Buendia both played really well in splitting their singles matches today," said head coach Mark Wesselink. "After three weekends in a row of competition, the team will get a well-deserved fall break."
The Spiders return to action in January when they kick off the spring season at Virginia.
