Women's Track and Field Heads to Clemson Invite

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond women's track and field program kicks off the spring semester with the Clemson Invite Friday and Saturday.
Fans can follow along with all the action at the Rock Norman Track & Field Complex in Clemson, S.C. here on Friday and here on Saturday. A schedule of events, live results and entries can be found here.
Tamar Accius (Jacksonville, Fla.) will toe the line in the 60m and 300m dash after finishing second in the 60 during the team's season opener at the CNU Holiday Open on Dec. 5 with a 7.95. Alongside Accius in the 60 and 300-meter dashes is Kayla Woods (Wilmington, Del.) who will also compete in the long jump with Grace Mittl (Bethlehem, Pa.). Woods ran a personal best 7.80 during 60m dash prelims last time out.
Accius and Woods are joined in the 300m dash by Rachel Helbling (McDonald, Pa.), and Kamryn Ross (Richmond, Va.). Helbling will also run the 600 (an event she took first in with a time of 1:33.28 at the CNU Holiday Open), while Ross will also look to repeat as an event champion the 60m hurdles after clocking 8.90 for the top spot at last month's meet.
In the middle-distance events, Kate McAndrew (Denville, N.J.), Kayla O'Connell (Marshfield, Mass.) and Kendra Smither (Richmond, Va.) will run the 800 and 1,000.
Lily Snow (Richmond, Va.), Elizabeth Stockman (Rocky Hill, Conn.) and Madison Trippett (Parkersburg, W.Va.) will run the 3,000. Stockman (9:42.05) and Trippett (10:00.33) finished first and second at the CNU Holiday Open, respectively.
