Women's Track and Field Concludes Day Two at Clemson Invite

Clemson, S.C. — The University of Richmond track and field program finished the Clemson Invite Saturday with Madison Trippett (Parkersburg, W.Va.) crossing the finish line second in the 3,000m run with a personal-best time of 9:50.84.
Behind Trippet, Elizabeth Stockman (Rocky Hill, Conn.) ran a 10:00.16 for fifth and Lily Snow (Richmond, Va.) finished eighth with a 10:13.96.
In the 300m dash, Rachel Helbling (McDonald, Pa.) clocked a 39.58 for 17th, Tamar Accius (Jacksonville, Fla.) finished in 40.34 for 20th, Kayla Woods (Wilmington, Del.) a 40.63 for 21st and Kamryn Ross (Richmond, Va.) a 41.21 for 23rd.
In the 800m run, Kayla O'Connell (Marshfield, Mass.) took fifth with a 2:11.45, Kate McAndrew (Denville, N.J.) followed in sixth with a 2:12.50 and Kendra Smither (Richmond, Va.) clocked a 2:14.09 for ninth.
The Spiders are back in action next Friday and Saturday at the Liberty Brant Tolsma Invitational in Lynchburg.
