Spiders to host George Mason on February 7, St. Bonaventure tip moves to 6 PM

RICHMOND, Va. -- The Atlantic 10 announced a pair of changes to the Richmond Spiders men's basketball schedule Monday. The Spiders home game against George Mason, which was originally scheduled for January 11 but was postponed due to COVID protocols within the George Mason program, will be played on February 7. The game will tip at 7 PM and be broadcast on MASN and ESPN Plus.

All original season tickets, mini plan tickets, group tickets and single-game tickets purchased for the original date of the game will be valid on February 7. If you have any questions, please call the ticket office at 1-877-SPIDER-1.

With the change in the schedule, Richmond will now host George Mason on February 7 and visit the Patriots on February 9. It will be the first time the Spiders have faced the same opponent in consecutive games in nearly 40 years, since UR played against East Carolina in back-to-back games on February 24, 1982 and March 4, 1982.

Additionally, Richmond's home game against St. Bonaventure on February 4 will now tip at 6 PM instead of 7 PM. The game will still air on ESPN2.
