Linebacker Xavier Marshall To Appear On Thursday's Behind The Web Noon-1pm At Glory Days Grill

Spider football's "X-factor," linebacker Xavier Marshall, is set to appear with head coach Russ Huesman on this Thursday's edition of Behind The Web at Glory Days Grill, 10466 Ridgefield Parkway in the Gleneagles Shopping Center. The live radio show airs from Noon-1pm on 106.1 ESPN, richmondspiders.com and espnrichmond.com. The Spiders return from their bye week this Saturday with a CAA football Top 25 showdown against pre-season conference favorite Villanova. Kick off is set for 3:30pm at Robins Stadium.
Marshall has made a remarkable comeback from a serious knee and leg injury suffered against Stony Brook last season. He returned in the second game this year against Lehigh, and has started the Spiders' past three games. He has 11 tackles including five solo stops for a Richmond defense ranked fourth in total defense (332.4 ypg) and second in scoring defense (19.6 ppg) in the CAA.
