What's Happening at the Robins Center This Season

The 2022-23 Men's Basketball Spiders will have a bunch of fresh faces and excitement in the air! This year's Spiders look to build on last year's success, an A10 Championship and NCAA Tournament win vs Big Ten champion Iowa! This season our preseason A-10 First Team All-Conference selection Tyler Burton, is back along with postseason heroes Matt Grace and Andre Gustavson. These veterans will be joined by some talented transfers: Neal Quinn (Lafayette), Jason Roche (Citadel) and Isaiah Bigelow (Wofford). Coach Mooney praised the atmosphere last year in the Robins Center and is looking for that same spirit again in 2022-2023. We are excited, ready to go and looking to have some fun!

RAISE THE BANNER!
During the opening week of the season at the Robins Center, we battle VMI on Monday, November 7 and then Northern Iowa on Friday, November 11th. Prior to the start of the Northern Iowa game, we will unveil the 2022 Atlantic 10 Championship and NCAA Tournament banners! Be on the lookout for details on this pre-game banner ceremony! Also vs Northern Iowa, commemorative posters for the 2022 A-10 Championship will be distributed free to the first 2,000 fans, presented by SouthState Bank! The season starts with "Raise the Banner Week"!
SEASON TICKETS
Spider fans are once again excited about Spider basketball! The Spiders are on track to match last year's record-setting season ticket holder numbers. 93% of Spider season ticket holders have renewed their season tickets from last year. Last season, Richmond basketball averaged over 6,000 fans and ranked third in the A10 in attendance and in the top 80 for the nation!
UNIQUE $22 "SPECIAL"
Get one ticket for $22 to our two opening week games - Monday, November 7th vs. VMI and Friday, November 11th vs Northern Iowa in honor of our "2022" A10 Championship and NCAA Tournament run!
IN-GAME DJ
New this season at the Robins Center will be an in-game DJ to keep the energy high all game long! DJ Ron Manila will join the Spiders entertainment team after making appearances with the Carolina Panthers, Milwaukee Bucks, Atlanta Falcons, and most recently the Richmond Flying Squirrels and University of Virginia.
LIGHT UP ROBINS CENTER
Be in your seats for player introductions to light up the Robins Center! Fans can participate in the pre-game light show from the convenience of their cell phone. When instructed, open the Cue Live App before player introductions to join in on the fun.
SPIDER BREWS IS BACK IN WEINSTEIN GYM
Back to a larger venue this year, Spider Brews will be featured three times throughout 2022-23 in Weinstein Gym. This event allows attendees to sample local brews and seasonal craft beers alongside samplings from Richmond area eateries. Spider Brews will be held on the following dates:
THE "THREE POINTER" SPECIAL PRESENTED BY ARDENT CRAFT ALES
The "Three Pointer" ticket special will allow fans to purchase 1 ticket (must buy at least two tickets) and 2 beer or wine beverages each at one price! This unique opportunity is available for the games below:
