Spider Baseball Welcomes Four in the Fall 2022 Class

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond head baseball coach Tracy Woodson has announced the addition of four student-athletes joining the program in the fall of 2022. Infielders Jordan Jaffe and Aidan O'Keefe and pitchers Chase Topolski and Davis Wallon are set to head to Richmond.
Jaffe, an infielder hailing from Thousand Oaks, Calif., helped the Calabasas High baseball program to two CIF southern section divisional playoff appearances. After posting a .321 batting average, an .894 on-base plus slugging with two home runs, 11 RBI and nine stolen bases his junior season, he was named Second Team All-Marmonte. He also collected USA Baseball NTIS gold medal status with the 15U Southern California squad in 2018.
O'Keefe heads to Richmond from Latham, N.Y., where he played for Albany Academy and the South Troy Dodgers. As a team captain of the Albany Academy baseball program, O'Keefe helped the squad to a 2020 Section 2 Class B semifinal appearance and a championship title in 2018. He collected two First Team All-League, First Team All-Area, and First Team Colonial Council and Second Team All-Section 2 accolades during his prep career. With the South Troy Dodgers, O'Keefe helped the team to AABC World Series title in 2017 and made an appearance at the Connie Mack World Series in 2021. He also made the Perfect Game Top 100 Team in 2019 and was named Preseason Underclassmen All-American Northeast in 2020.
Topoloski, a right-handed pitcher from Mount Laurel, N.J., helped the Lenape High program to a New Jersey Group 4 Regional Championship appearance last season. He averaged eight strikeouts per game and finished with a 2.22 ERA his junior season, collecting First Team All-Olympic Conference honors. He also gained experience playing for the No. 2 travel baseball team in the country, USA Prime National, as well as the No. 11 travel team in the country, Artillery Scout Team, this past summer. He ranks as the No. 9 pitcher and No. 33 prep player in the state of New Jersey by Prep Baseball Report and in the Top 500 overall player ranking in the country by Perfect Game.
Wallon, a native of Wilton, Conn., served as a varsity team captain at Fairfield Prep where he helped the squad to a Southern Connecticut Conference title. On the mound for the Jesuits, Wallon was named First Team All-SCC. In the summer season, Wallon collected three wins in tournament action, helped his squad to a Top-30 ranking in the country, and earned multiple All-Tournament selections.
