Basketball Celebration Event Set For Tuesday At 7 PM

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond men's basketball fans and supporters will get one more chance to cheer on the Spiders at the Robins Center this year as the athletics department will hold a Spider Basketball Celebration event Tuesday, April 12. The FREE event will begin at 7 p.m. on the Robins Center court and doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Additional event information includes:

Parking is free in lots C61 and C66 on College Road (across from Robins Center).
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to enter through the lower lobby doors by the main ticket office (west side facing College Road).
Seating is general admission and FREE.
Bottled water will be available for FREE.
The Spider Shop will be open on the Robins Center floor.
Fans will be able to take pictures with Atlantic 10 Conference Championship trophy and get autographs with student-athletes and coaching staff.

The Spiders won their second Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament championship this season, winning four games in four days in Washington, D.C., earning the automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. The Spiders, as the 12^th seed in the Midwest Regional, knocked off fifth-seeded Iowa in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament. Richmond advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time in program history and the first since 2011 with the win.
