Pair of PRs Highlights Day One at Virginia Challenge

Charlottesville, Va.— The Richmond track and field program ran away from day one of the Virginia Challenge hosted by UVA with a pair of personal-best times by Spider 1,500m runners.
Elizabeth Stockman ran a career-best 4:22.43 to win section two and finish fifth overall, while Madison Trippet turned in a PR of 4:28.64.
Kayla Woods jumped to a season best 19-11.75 for seventh in the long jump. Rachel Helbling took seventh in the 400m dash with a 54.60, while Virginia Beringer continued her successful freshman campaign with a 57.98.
For the men, Peter Borger ran a 30:32.03 for fifth in the 10,000.
