Walsh Earns Second Straight A-10 All-Conference Honor

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond senior John Walsh has been named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team, as announced today by the league.
This is the second straight all-conference honor for Walsh as he was named to the A-10 All-Conference Second Team last season.
Walsh, a native of Bryn Mawr, Pa., went 7-2 this season at No. 2 singles and was 10-9 overall including 3-1 in conference play. He finished 5-1 in his last six matches of the season, three of those wins coming against A-10 opponents. His lone loss in that span was against Davidson in the A-10 Tournament.
In doubles this season, Walsh teamed up with Campbell Erwin to go 13-4 overall including an impressive 6-0 at the No. 1 spot. The pair was 3-1 in A-10 action and did not drop a match after Feb. 18 against William & Mary until April 3 against George Mason, winning eight matches in that span.
