RICHMOND, Va. – Jack Fahed (fay-HEAD) has been named video coordinator for the Richmond Spiders men's basketball program, head coach Chris Mooney announced Monday. With Fahed's appointment, the Spiders coaching staff has been set for the 2022-23 season.
In his new role, Fahed will manage all aspects of the team's video operations and also contribute to opponent scouting and player recruitment. He spent the 2021-22 season as a graduate assistant on the men's basketball staff at James Madison University after earning an undergraduate degree in Business Management from JMU in 2021. Fahed served as a team manager for four years with the Dukes and was the team's head manager as a senior in 2020-21.
"Jack comes to Richmond highly recommended and I couldn't be happier to have him as part of our team," said Mooney. "His work ethic and eagerness to learn new roles will make him a valuable addition to our program."
