Atlantic 10 Women’s Basketball Schedule Announced

RICHMOND, Va. – The Atlantic 10 has announced the 2022-23 women's basketball schedule, and the Spiders are set for a 16-game conference slate with eight home games including one nationally televised matchup. Richmond will play five Saturday games, three Sunday games, and eight Wednesday games.
The Spiders will face each A-10 team at least once, and they will face both VCU and Davidson twice in a home-and-home series.
Richmond begins its conference slate at home Saturday, Dec. 31 against George Washington. The Spiders then travel to first-year A-10 member Loyola Chicago Wednesday, Jan. 4 before heading to Davidson Sunday, Jan. 8 for the first of two meetings with the Wildcats.
The Spiders return home Wednesday, Jan. 11 to host crosstown rival VCU in their first of two matchups against the Rams this season.
After a week-long break, the Spiders go to Rhode Island Wednesday, Jan. 18 and return to the Robins Center Saturday, Jan. 21 to host George Mason. After that, they go back on the road to face Fordham Wednesday, Jan. 25.
The Spiders will then host Saint Joseph's Sunday, Jan. 29 for their lone nationally televised game this season. The game will be broadcasted on CBS Sports Network.
Richmond then goes on the road for two straight games, starting with UMass Wednesday, Feb. 1 followed by Dayton Sunday, Feb. 4, before hosting a three-game homestand at the Robins Center. Making the trip to Richmond during that homestand will be La Salle Wednesday, Feb. 8, Davidson Sunday, Feb. 12, and Saint Louis Wednesday, Feb. 15.
After that, the Spiders leave Richmond just one more time in the regular season for a trip to Duquesne Saturday, Feb. 18. The Spiders then play down the street at VCU Wednesday, Feb. 22.
Richmond wraps up the regular season at home Saturday, Feb. 25 by hosting St. Bonaventure at the Robins Center.
