CHEROKEE, N.C. – Insider Exposure CEO John McGraw announced on Tuesday the release of spectator tickets for the college portion of the 2023 Cherokee Invitational. This year's edition features four NCAA D1 women's basketball teams. Michigan State University, The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Coastal Carolina University and the University of Richmond will be playing in a four team pre-Christmas tournament on the grounds of Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort, December 20-21, 2023.
"We are extremely pleased with the caliber of teams in this year's event," McGraw said. "In only our second year, we were able to bring in two teams coming off post season tournament success with UT-Chatt playing in the NCAA tournament last year and Richmond playing in the WNIT. As well to get a Power 5 school like Michigan State and an up and comer in the Sun Belt, Coastal Carolina, was huge for us. We look forward to an amazing few days in Cherokee."
