What's Happening at the Robins Center This Season

Spider Basketball returns to the Robins Center this month, and Richmond Athletics is excited to welcome Spider fans back to one of the best college basketball arenas in the nation!
Our Men's and Women's Basketball teams will combine to play at least 30 games at the Robins Center this season. Here's what fans can expect to see and hear when they visit Spider Basketball this season.Â
BUFFALO WILD WINGS SPIDER KIDS CLUB MEMBERS GET MORE
Richmond Athletics will host 22 Spider Kids Clubs games this season: 8 Men's Basketball games (Nov. 25 vs Queens, Dec. 2 vs William & Mary, Dec. 21 vs Buffalo, Dec. 30 vs Lafayette, Jan. 13 vs George Mason. Jan. 27 vs Dayton, Feb. 10 vs La Salle, Feb. 24 vs Davidson) and all 14 Women's Basketball games. Members can receive a free ticket to every Kids Club game by claiming them via the link in the weekly newsletter.
Kids Club members can also sign up for the pre-game high-five tunnel and get a chance to run through the Spider tunnel for pre-game warmups or host their birthday party in a Robins Center terrace at a Women's Basketball game.Â
WebstUR Jr. level members can purchase discounted tickets for the Men's Basketball game vs VCU on March 2, the Richmond Area Honda Dealers Capital City Classic.Â
FAMILY FUN ZONE PRESENTED BY VIRGINIA FAMILY DENTISTRY
Richmond Athletics has added new activities and refurbished some old favorites in the Family Fun Zone, now presented by Virginia Family Dentistry. Visit the Family Fun Zone starting 90 minutes before each game.Â
HALFTIME ENTERTAINMENT
Halftime is for the dogs at the Robins Center! We'll welcome back Spider favorites Christian and Scooby on January 27 vs Dayton and host The All-Star Stunt Dogs on March 2 vs VCU. The Virginia529 Diaper Derby, featuring some of the Richmond area's fastest crawlers, will be held on February 10 vs La Salle. Halftime is presented by Tommy's Express Car Wash.Â
SPIDER BREWS PRESENTED BY JOYNER FINE PROPERTIES
Get ready for the game by enjoying a pregame tasting at our signature Spider Brews event. Located in the Weinstein Center from 4 to 5:30 pm. For only $10 per person, this event features unlimited sampling of craft beer from local breweries including Ardent Craft Ales along with delicious bites from local restaurant partners and a souvenir cup! Season ticket holders can call 1-877-SPIDER1 to add a pass to Spider Brews onto their existing ticket. December 2 vs William & Mary, January 13 vs George Mason, and February 24 vs Davidson.

Mission Air presents the Cue Audio starting lineup lightshow! Get ready for pregame now and download the Cue Audio app. Then arrive early to help us light up the Robins Center. When instructed, open the Cue Live App before player introductions to join in on the fun!
LIVE MUSIC
The Richmond pep band returns to Robins Center this season, and DJ Slam will keep the music going before and during the game from his courtside DJ booth. Â
NATIONAL BROADCASTS
Men's Basketball's games vs Dayton (January 27) and VCU (March 2) will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network, as will Women's Basketball's game vs Rhode Island (January 14).

Spider fans will Red Out the Robins Center for Men's Basketball's game vs VCU on March 2 — the Richmond Area Honda Dealers Capital City Classic. The first 500 students will receive a free t-shirt.

RICHMOND CHRISTMAS MOTHER FUND
Donate gently used coats and jackets to support the Richmond Christmas Mother Fund at both the November 11 game vs Siena as well as the November 25 game vs Queens. Richmond Athletics and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) are partnering with the Richmond Christmas Mother to spread joy this holiday season to underprivileged Richmond area families.

In addition to a great basketball game, Richmond Athletics has a couple of special reasons to attend the Men's Basketball vs VMI on November 6.Â
• The first 4,500 fans in the arena will receive free rally towels to help them support the Spiders.
• During a pregame ceremony, Spiders center Neal Quinn will be honored for scoring his 1,000th career point last March.Â
