TODAY! QB Kyle Wickersham To Appear On Regular Season Finale Of Behind The Web Thursday Noon-1 At The Brass Tap
11/14/2023 | Football, General, Spider Athletic Fund
Redshirt sophomore quarterback Kyle Wickersham will join head coach Russ Huesman for the regular season finale of Behind The Web, this Thursday, Nov. 16 at The Brass Tap, 4901 Libbie Mill E. Blvd. The live radio program will air from Noon-1pm on 106.1 ESPN, richmondspiders.com and espnrichmond.com.
Wickersham enjoyed his best all-around game of the season in last Saturday's Senior Day victory over Elon. He was 20-27 for 169 yards and two touchdowns through the air, and ran for a career-high 130 yards, including highlight rushes of 47 and 52 yards. For the season, Wickersham is now completing 76.8 percent of his passes.
Coach Huesman, Wickersham and Voice of the Spiders Bob Black will also preview this Saturday's Capital Cup rivalry game with William & Mary, presented by C&F Bank. A victory for the Spiders, who have won five in a row, would clinch a share of the CAA Football regular season championship.
Fans are encouraged to attend the show to talk college football while also enjoying The Brass Tap's full food and drink menu. Listeners and fans can interact with the show, anytime, by submitting questions and comments online.Â
