11/28/2023 | Men's Basketball
RICHMOND, Va. — Spiders senior DeLonnie Hunt underwent surgery to repair a fractured left wrist Monday and is expected to miss six to eight weeks, the team announced Tuesday.
Hunt sustained the injury after being fouled on a drive with 15:10 to play in the first half vs Colorado on November 20. Hunt played 12 more minutes before eventually exiting the game for good early in the second half.
Hunt, who transferred to Richmond from Wagner in May, is averaging 9.3 points per game this season. He has started all four games he appeared in and played 96 minutes in Richmond's first three games of the season, 14 more than any other Spider.
