Spiders Head to New York for Scarlet Knight Invitational

New York, N.Y. - The University of Richmond track and field program heads to New York City to participate in the Scarlet Knight Invitational, hosted by Rutgers.Â
Kamryn Ross is set for a strong weekend as she takes on the 60mH and the 200m. Ross is looking to continue her success after an incredible past weekend at George Mason where she took first place in the 60mH (8.83, her best time of 2023)Â and the 200m (25.32, flat-track personal best)
Elizabeth Stockman has been consistent all season in distance and is looking to continue that streak heading into this weekend. At George Mason, she took the impressive first place victory in the 5k (17:12.43) where she edged out her all of her competitors by 26 seconds. Stockman will compete in the mile and 3k for the Spiders on this trip.Â
Lindsay Colflesh looks to make a big splash for the Spiders in New York after a successful weekend at George Mason. She took a big first place victory in the 800m with a new indoor personal best of 2:16.82 as she also played a huge part in the 12:18.48 distance medley relay win for Richmond.Â
