Anna Camden to miss 2023-24 Season due to Knee Injury

RICHMOND, Va. – Women's Basketball graduate transfer Anna Camden will miss the 2023-24 season due to a knee injury suffered during a team workout last week, the team announced on Sunday.
"I am incredibly heartbroken for Anna, as she showed amazing promise in her initial stint as a Spider," Head Coach Aaron Roussell said. "We were excited about what she would do on the court for us this year, but I know she will find a way to make the best of this misfortune. We will fully support her in this recovery and look forward to seeing the results of her hard work on the opposite end of this process. Anna is a special person and I know Spider Nation will be proud of what they see in her future."
Camden, a transfer from Penn State, played in 28 games with seven starts and tallied 32 boards, 18 assists and 15 steals in her senior season with the Nittany Lions. She was also named to the Academic All-Big Ten Team and the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
