What's New at Robins Stadium

The 2023 University of Richmond football season is less than one week away and plenty of fun is in store for fans this fall at Robins Stadium.Â
Spiders fans everywhere are ready to see the 2023 Spiders, who have already earned a host of preseason accolades:Â
• Tristan Wheeler Tabbed to Buck Buchanan Award Watch List
• Aaron Trusler Named to FCS Punter of the Year Award Preseason Watch List
• Wheeler, Coll Named 2023 Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-Americans
• 9 Spiders Receive Preseason Honors by Phil Steele
• Spiders Tabbed 3rd in Preseason CAA Poll
The Spiders will have six games at Robins Stadium this season with the home opener broadcasted regionally on NBC Sports Washington. You can also catch every game streamed live on Flo Football. For those headed to Robins Stadium this Saturday and throughout the season, here's what they can expect:Â
• The new Club Level seating in the West Concourse is already sold out for the 2023 season. Club level tickets include cushioned chairback seating underneath the third-floor mezzanine as well as access to exclusive food and beverage options in a hospitality suite situated behind the seating area, giving fans the choice to watch the Spiders from the stands or the comfort of a climate-controlled suite.
• Fireworks - On September 2nd we will have postgame fireworks to celebrate the start of the 2023 Spider Football season! So make sure you stay for the entire game to catch the awesome fireworks show when the game concludes!
• Spider Brews pre-game events return this season with local craft beer and food tasting prior to our home opener on September 2nd vs Morgan State and October 28th for Homecoming against Campbell. Packages begin at just $35 and includes both the pre-game event as well as your game ticket. Purchase now before it's too late!
• Family Weekend tickets are moving fast! On September 30th, the University of Richmond and Spider Athletics will be hosting Family Weekend as we take on Hampton. We are excited to showcase our top-ranked beautiful campus and welcome our students' parents back this fall! If you're planning to attend the game, join us for our Family Weekend Tailgate taking place in the Front Forest outside of the Robins Center beginning at Noon. Enjoy local food trucks, live music, games/contests and much more!
• Red Out Robins – On October 28th we are going to red out Robins Stadium for Homecoming when the Spiders take on Campbell! Be sure to get your ticket in advance to take part in this epic game!
• Chairbacks – we are delighted to announce that chairbacks are back! These comfortable, cushioned seats are a great add-on option for our Spider season ticket holders. The best part, it's already placed on your seat for you!
• Patio Hospitality (North End Zone) – We are in the third year of our north end zone patios under the videoboard, and it's a premium space for you and your friends/family to enjoy a group outing. Open and accommodating spaces for youth teams, birthday parties, and celebrations, the space will have field-level bleachers and picnic tables with umbrellas right behind the end zone! Fans can also see the Spiders enter the field for player introductions up close and personal!
• Red Zone Hospitality Suites (South End Zone) – The Red Zones are prime group seating areas right on the field in the south end zone of Robins Stadium. The unique location allows you and your group to experience the game like a coach on the sideline ... you're so close you could catch a touchdown pass! Each Red Zone offers field level views, catering, and a front row seat to the exciting action of Spiders football. • UR season ticket holders and the general public will have a chance to buy access into this Red Zone Suite for the September 16th game vs. Delaware State. Contact the ticket office to learn more about this great opportunity at 1-877-SPIDER-1.
• Spiders Kids Club – The Spiders Kids Club has all new membership levels for the 2023-24 athletic year! Three tiers of membership: Spiderlings, Spiders & WebstUR Jr., will offer Spiders supporters the opportunity to choose the level with the benefits they want to enjoy during the upcoming Spiders sports season. Membership is for children aged 13 and under and is valid until June 30, 2024.
• Concessions – Returning this season is in-seat ordering via the Campus GrubHub app to make your concessions experience  more convenient! Use the GrubHub app at the stadium to order food right from your seat and pick it up at the concession stands when it is ready! Be sure to check out our game day food specials available for each game!
• We have a full slate of high school bands performing at each game this season! Come out to support the marching bands from our community and the greater Richmond area!
