RICHMOND, Va. — Spiders junior Hannah Lydic has been named the Atlantic 10 Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday. Lydic was honored for her 12th place finish at the Lady Blue Hen Invitational in Rehoboth Beach, Del. on October 19-20.
Lydic, who hails from nearby Ocean View, Del. opened with a 2-under 70 in Round 1, her first round under par this season. She closed with rounds of 76 (+4) and 75 (+3) to finish the event at 5-over par (221), tied for 12th in the 65-person field.
It was Lydic's 12th career top-20 finish and her first this season. She helped the Spiders to a sixth-place finish in the 10-team event with a score of 40-over par (904).
