DAYTON, Ohio – With three singles matches going to three sets, the University of Richmond men's tennis team picked up a dominating 7-0 win over Marquette in Dayton, Ohio at the South Regency Tennis Center Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Spiders roll to 4-1 on the year while the Golden Eagles fall to 1-5.

In doubles, Spider duo Dylan Atkinson and Sebastian Miano defeated Balthazor/Vazquez (MAR), 6-2, on court two to move to 3-0 in doubles on the year. Cole Brashear and Davis Wiley rounded out doubles action on court No. 2, 6-1, over Jauch/Schaadt (MAR) to secure the doubles point for Richmond.

In singles, Mark Taranov, with his second-straight singles win at court No. 6, downed Vazquez (MAR), 6-1, 6-4 to put UR up 2-0 before Miano handled business on court No. 4, defeating Schaadt (MAR) 6-1, 6-2. Atkinson then got a singles win off on court No. 5, 6-1, 7-6 over Balthazor (MAR) and Paxton Pritchard took Krstulovic (MAR) to three and won 5-7, 6-1, 10-5. To round out singles action, Kliebhan won a three-set battle, 4-6, 6-4, 10-8 against Roegner (MAR) before Wiley finished off Jauch (MAR), 6-3, 1-6, 10-6 to move to 4-1 in singles this year.
