TONIGHT! Freshman Mikell Tyne Set To Appear On Behind The Web From World Of Beer Monday 6-7pm
02/11/2024 | General, Men's Basketball, Spider Athletic Fund
Freshman guard Mikell Tyne, who sparked the first-place Spiders and a sold-out Robins Center crowd Saturday, is set to appear on Behind The Web, this Monday Feb. 12 from 6-7pm, at World of Beer Bar and Kitchen, 11600 W. Broad Street. The live radio show, hosted by Voice of the Spiders Bob Black, will air on 106.1 ESPN, richmondspiders.com and espnrichmond.com.
Tyne scored three straight baskets in an explosive one minute stretch of the first half, giving the Spiders their initial lead of the game, en route to an 82-65 victory over La Salle. The Toronto native started eleven games in the absence of DeLonnie Hunt, who was recovering from a broken wrist. Tyne poured in a career-high 16 points, including five three-pointers in a December start against Florida. He is averaging five points per game, while committing just one turnover in the past six games.
Fans attending the show can enjoy World of Beer's full food and beverage menu, plus weekly specials. Monday is World of Beer's $7.95 Burger Night. To interact with the show, anytime, submit questions and comments online.
