
Spiders in Fourth at Patriot League Championship

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Richmond remained in fourth place at the Patriot League Women's Golf Championship Saturday, combining to shoot a 30-over 310 in the second round. With Sunday's final round remaining, the Spiders are at 55-over par (615), trailing Navy (+33), Boston (+36), and Lehigh (+50).
A pair of sophomores have led UR through the first 36 holes, with Olivia Wilkie shooting 12-over par (tied for seventh) and Hannah Lydic at 13-over par (tied for ninth).
Senior Rory Weinfurther is tied for 12th at 14-over par, three shots in front of junior Christine Mandile, who is tied for 18th.
Junior Lauren Jones is tied for 21st at 19-over par, and freshman Maya Beasley is in 31st at 24-over par.
The Spiders will begin Sunday's final round at 8:30 AM. UR will be paired with fifth-place Bucknell and sixth-place Holy Cross.
