Spiders end Season in A-10 Championship Semifinal Match Versus No. 3 Dayton

ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Richmond men's tennis team put up a valiant effort, but fell short to No. 3-seeded Dayton in the Atlantic 10 Conference semifinal match Saturday morning, 4-0. The Spiders end their season at 14-8, 6-1 in A-10 action, 5-4 at home, 3-3 in road games and 6-1 on neutral courts.

How it Happened
The Spiders dropped their first doubles match on court No. 1, 6-3, before Spider dup Sebastian Miano and Daniel Kliebhan tied the doubles match at one with a 6-4 win over McNally/Hiryur (UD) on court two. Paxton Pritchard and Mark Taranov were narrowly edged by Puric/Suk (UD) on court three as the Flyers clinched the doubles point. The Spiders were able to take two singles matches to three sets, but Dayton wins on courts four, five and three gave the opposition the 4-0 win.
