Richmond, Va. – Elizabeth Stockman, Alicia Dawson and Madison Trippett have punched their tickets to the NCAA East Regional Championships as they each extend their final year of competition at the University of Richmond. The trio will compete in Lexington, KY. through May 22-24 as the University of Kentucky is set to host the opening round of East coast events.
Elizabeth Stockman will compete in the 1500m on Thursday, May 23 at 3:30 p.m. She will then run the 3K Steeplechase on Saturday, May 25 for only the fourth time in her collegiate career. Stockman qualified for the 1500m with a 4:15.80 mark at the Penn Relays as she broke the program record in the event and placed 6th at the historic meet. She later went on to win the gold medal at the Atlantic 10 Championships in the event. Her qualifying mark in the 3K Steeplechase was set at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships last week as she clocked a 10:25.02 for second place.
