Doroh Tied for 15th at Evie Odom Invitational

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Freshman Addie Doroh led the Spiders on Day 1 of Old Dominion's Evie Odom Invitational Thursday, shooting a 2-over 72. Doroh is tied for 15th in the field of 72 golfers, and the Spiders are in 11th place at 22-over par (302).
Doroh started her day with a birdie on the par-5 10th hole at Princess Anne Country Club and finished her round with two birdies, four bogeys, and 12 pars. She is part of a group of nine golfers tied at 2-over par.
Junior Maya Beasley is one shot behind at 3-over par (75), tied for 24th place. Beasley led UR with three birdies Thursday, tied for fifth most in the field.
Senior Hannah Lydic carded a 6-over 76 and is tied for 42nd, while sophomore Katie Magner provided UR's final team score, an 11-over 81, and is tied for 69th.
Senior Olivia Wilkie is tied for 71st at 13-over par (83).
The Spiders combined for just 47 pars in Round 1, the fewest of any team in the 12-team field.
Richmond will begin Friday's second round at 10:10 AM on the 10th tee.
