Spiders Receive Votes in USA TODAY Sports Preseason Coaches Poll

RICHMOND, Va. — The University of Richmond women's basketball team earned 67 points in the USA TODAY Sports Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll, landing among the teams receiving votes ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Richmond is coming off a 28-7 campaign in which it captured the Atlantic 10 regular season title and advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament. The Spiders were also ranked No. 24 in the Associated Press Preseason Top 25 earlier this month, marking their first appearance in program history in the AP poll.
The Spiders tip off the 2025-26 season on Tuesday, Nov. 4, playing host to Mount St. Mary's at 6 p.m. inside the Robins Center.
