RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond senior forward Maggie Doogan has been named Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week for the second straight week after averaging 20.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 6.0 assists in a 2-0 stretch for the Spiders.
Doogan, who leads the A-10 in scoring, rebounding and assists, turned in another dominant performance during Richmond's road swing. She opened the week with 25 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists on 8-of-13 shooting in a 36-minute effort at William and Mary, finishing just shy of her first career triple-double. She then followed with 16 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and three blocks in a key win at Columbia. For the week, she shot 52.0 percent from the field and 92.9 percent at the line while playing 37.5 minutes per game.
The Broomall, Pa. native also reached several major milestones during the win in New York. Doogan surpassed 1,500 career points, becoming only the ninth player in program history to hit the mark, and recorded her 80th career double-figure scoring game. Her production helped Richmond hand Columbia only its fifth home loss since the 2022-23 season. The Lions had gone 13-2, 14-1 and 10-1 inside Levien Gymnasium over the last three years.
This marks the eighth weekly honor of Doogan's career and her second of the 2025-26 season. She earned three A-10 Player of the Week awards last year and was selected for the first time this season on Nov. 10 after opening the year with 50 points and 20 rebounds through her first two games.
Richmond returns to the Robins Center this week, hosting Temple on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. and will welcome Navy on Sunday, Nov. 23 for a 2 p.m. matchup for Taylor Swift night.
