Doogan Earns A-10 Co-Player of the Week Honor for Third Straight Week

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond senior forward Maggie Doogan has been named Atlantic 10 Conference Co-Player of the Week after averaging 24.0 points, 14.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists in a 2-0 stretch for the Spiders. She shares this week's honor with Fordham's Alexis Black, who averaged 31.0 points, 5.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds while shooting 45.0 percent in a 1-1 week for the Rams.
Doogan opened Richmond's homestand with a near triple-double against Temple, recording 31 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists on 12-of-21 shooting, including 6-of-12 from three, in 39 minutes. She followed that performance with 17 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks in 38 minutes against Navy, securing her second-straight double-double, fourth of the season.
Navy entered the matchup against Richmond undefeated, while Temple had previously earned wins over three Atlantic 10 opponents in George Mason, George Washington and La Salle before facing the Spiders.
For the week, the Broomall, Pa. native shot 45.0 percent from the field and 42.1 percent from three while logging 38.9 minutes per game. She continues to lead the Atlantic 10 in scoring, rebounding and assists and ranks among the national leaders in several categories, standing top ten in defensive rebounds (third), points per game (eighth) and double-doubles (fifth).
This marks the ninth weekly honor of Doogan's career and her third straight A-10 Player of the Week recognition to open the 2025-26 season.
Richmond will be on the road this week, traveling to Mexico to take on No. 8 TCU on Nov. 27, and then will face Green Bay on Nov. 28, both games are slated for 9 p.m. ET on FloSports.
