Behind The Web Season Premiere Set For Monday 6-7pm From The Local And Live on 106.1 ESPN

The season premiere of Behind The Web, at its new home, The Local At Forest & Ridge, tips off this Monday December 1 from 6-7pm. Featuring men's basketball coach Chris Mooney and Voice of the Spiders Bob Black, the live radio show can be heard on 106.1 ESPN, richmondspiders.com and espnrichmond.com. A special player guest will join the show each week at The Local, located just a mile from the Robins Center at 403 N. Ridge Road in the Tuckahoe Shopping Center.
Fans are encouraged to attend the show and enjoy The Local's full food and beverage menu, serving chef-driven dishes, seasonal cocktails, and front-row seats for every big game. To interact with the show, anytime, submit questions and comments online.

The Spiders are 6-1, matching the best start in Coach Mooney's 21-year tenure. Featuring a deep, 11-man rotation, Richmond is averaging 85 points per game. Three players average double figures, led by AJ Lopez (11 ppg) and followed by two local products, freshman Aiden Argabright (10.7 ppg) and junior Jaden Daughtry (10.6 ppg). The Spiders are also outrebounding opponents by 10 boards per game.
The radio program will be archived on richmondspiders.com. Following Monday's season premiere, Behind The Web from The Local at Forest & Ridge will be held on three additional Mondays in December before taking a two-week holiday break. The show returns Monday January 12, 2026 and continues each Monday through the remainder of the college basketball season. The full schedule of shows is listed below.
