NCAA Bracket
This marks Richmond's fifth NCAA Tournament appearance in program history and its second-highest tournament seeding. The Spiders' best-ever seed came in 1991, when they entered the tournament as a No. 7 seed. Last season, Richmond returned to the Big Dance for the first time since 2005, earning a No. 10 seed and taking on No. 7 Duke in Columbus, Ohio.
Richmond (27-6) will look to make history this time around, as the program is still searching for its first NCAA Tournament victory. The Spiders are 0-4 all-time in NCAA play and are 0-2 against Georgia Tech (22-10) dating back to 1985.
