FEDERAL WAY, WASH. – Sophomore Melissa Nwakalor competed in her first NCAA Swimming Championships on Thursday afternoon. Nwakalor finished 24th out of 85 participants.

In the preliminaries, Nwakalor swam a 22.01 and finished as the top swimmer among the Mid-Major teams.

Nwakalor is back in the water for the 100 free on Saturday, March 22. Preliminaries begin at 1 p.m. EST and finals begin at 9 p.m. EST.
