Spider Soccer Earns United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

RICHMOND, Va. — The University of Richmond women's soccer team has earned the United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award for its academic performance during the 2024-25 academic year, the organization announced on Friday.
Richmond posted a team grade point average of 3.78, placing the program among the top academic performers in collegiate women's soccer.
In total, 424 women's programs and 295 men's programs earned the distinction by achieving a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Of the 719 total teams recognized, 160 institutions had both their men's and women's programs receive the award.
