Spiders Start Play at Mason Rudolph Classic

FRANKLIN, Tenn. — The Richmond Spiders women's golf team combined for a team score of 20-over par (304) in Round 1 of the Mason Rudolph Classic Friday at Vanderbilt Legends Club. The Spiders are currently in 16th place in the event, one shot behind Middle Tennessee (+19) and four behind Lipscomb and ULM (+16), who are tied for 13th.
Junior Maya Beasley, coming off her first career win at last week's Tribe Invitational, led the Spiders with a 3-over 74 and is tied for 48th place in the 90-woman field. Senior Olivia Wilkie is two shots back in a tie for 67th.
Freshman Addie Doroh and senior Hannah Lydic are tied for 71st at 6-over par (77), and sophomore Katie Magner is teid for 80th at 7-over par (78).
Round 2 will begin at 9:30 AM ET Saturday.
