VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Three members of the University of Richmond women's track and field team competed at the VCU Rams Indoor Invitational at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. Molly Wise took first place in the long jump.

For the second time this indoor season, Wise won the long jump with a mark of 5.97 meters. Sydney Phillips finished 14th with a personal-best mark of 5.10 meters.

In the triple jump, Phillips placed seventh with a mark of 11.21 meters.

In the 60-meter hurdles, Alexandra Cahill recorded a season-best time of 9.35. She also posted a personal-best time of 27.16 in the 200 meters.

In the 60 meters, Wise finished in 8.05, while Cahill recorded a personal-best time of 8.09.

The Spiders return to action at the Wesley A. Brown Invitational at the Naval Academy on Jan. 16-17.
