Women’s Basketball Atlantic 10 Pre-Game Gatherings
The University of Richmond Alumni Association and Spider Athletic Fund invite Spider fans, alumni and friends to pre-game gatherings before Richmond’s Atlantic 10 Tournament games. Complimentary appetizers will be provided and a cash bar will be available.

Richmond Spiders Quick Facts
- Finished the regular season 25-6 overall and 15-3 in Atlantic 10 play, earning the No. 3 seed in the Atlantic 10 Championship.
- Posted a 13-1 record inside the Robins Center and went 9-0 at home in conference play (13-1 overall), pushing Richmond’s Atlantic 10 home win streak to 33 straight games.
- Richmond owns an 80.6 winning percentage this season, ranking No. 27 nationally, and enters postseason play with a +14.4 scoring margin, No. 34 in the country.
- The Spiders rank among the nation’s most efficient offenses, averaging 73.6 points per game (No. 58 nationally) while shooting 46.3 percent from the field, No. 21 in the country and first in the Atlantic 10.
- Richmond is one of the nation’s premier three-point shooting teams, ranking No. 2 nationally with 10.9 made threes per game and No. 7 in three-point attempts (28.9 per game).
- Richmond leads the Atlantic 10 in assists per game (16.4) and ranks No. 40 nationally.
- The Spiders also rank No. 5 nationally in three-point percentage (37.8) and No. 5 nationally in free throw percentage (80.1), both marks leading the Atlantic 10.
- Defensively, Richmond allows 59.2 points per game (No. 58 nationally) while holding opponents to 38.8 percent shooting from the field and 28.8 percent from three-point range.
- Senior Maggie Doogan leads the team with 21.6 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, ranking No. 13 nationally in scoring average and No. 7 nationally in total points (669).
- Doogan also ranks No. 10 nationally in free throw percentage (89.7) while shooting 51.5 percent from the field and 41.8 percent from three-point range this season.
- Earlier this season, Doogan became the second-leading scorer in Richmond women’s basketball history, surpassing 2,000 career points, and recorded a program-record 48-point performance against Davidson in conference play. Her 48-point output marked an NCAA season high as well as a Richmond and Atlantic 10 single game record.Â
- Senior Rachel Ullstrom averages 14.7 points per game and ranks among the nation’s most efficient perimeter shooters, hitting 41.9 percent from three-point range (No. 25 nationally) with 90 made threes this season.
- Point guard Ally Sweeney directs the Richmond offense with 137 assists and ranks No. 33 nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.14) while averaging 10.5 points and 4.4 assists per game.
- Richmond has recorded 10 wins by 20 points or more this season and owns conference victories over VCU twice, Dayton, Saint Louis, Duquesne, George Mason and Rhode Island.
- Richmond enters the Atlantic 10 Championship with a No. 37 NET ranking, the highest in the Atlantic 10, ahead of Rhode Island (No. 49) and George Mason (No. 61).
