Serbay joined the Spiders' staff prior to the start of the 2017 season to serve as the Offensive Quality Control specialist and to assist in Richmond's recruiting efforts.
The Fredericksburg, Va. native has been around the game of football nearly his entire life and has been a part of coaching staffs since 2010.Â
Serbay comes to the Spiders after spending last year in the scouting department for the Cleveland Browns. Prior to his stint with the Browns, he spent the 2015 season as the defensive quality specialist for Towson.Â
His start in the coaching field at James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg, Va., where he was a part of the staff from 2010-2014.Â
Serbay received his degree from VCU in December of 2014.Â
