Thomas Midgette is in his first year on the Richmond men’s basketball staff as the team’s Video Coordinator.
Midgett will handle film exchange, video editing, oversee the managers and assist in the day-to-day operations of the office.
The Richmond, Va. native spent the last two seasons at Old Dominion, serving as the Assistant Video Coordinator for the men’s basketball team in 2012-13 and the Assistant to the Director of Basketball Operations for the women’s team in 2011-12.
Before his stint at Old Dominion, Midgette spent four years on active duty in the U.S. Navy.
Midgette was a two-year starter and All-Conference player at Commonwealth Christian School and a two-year starter at Trinity Episcopal School. He was a varsity lettermen at Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee.
Midgette graduated from Old Dominion with a degree in Engineering Technology and is currently working on a Master's in Sports Management.
