Dollar joined the Spiders staff in the summer of 2023 as the team's Video Coordinator and was promoted to Assistant Coach/Director of Basketball Operations & Recruiting in June 2024. In his current role, he assists with scouting, player development, and more while managing the team’s daily schedule.
In his first season at Richmond in 2023-24, Dollar and the Spiders finished 23-10 overall and posted a 15-3 record in Atlantic 10 play, earning a share of the league's regular season title and setting a program record for conference wins in a season.Â
Dollar came to Richmond following one year as an Assistant Coach at Indian Hills (IA) Community College, where he helped the Warriors to a 29-5 record and a spot in the semifinals of the 2023 National Junior College Athletic Association Men’s Basketball National Tournament.

Prior to Indian Hills, Dollar served as a graduate assistant at Florida State, earning a Master’s of Education degree while working under Seminoles head coach Leonard Hamilton.

Dollar received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida, serving as a team manager for the Men’s Basketball program for three seasons.

Dollar’s father Chad is currently the associate head coach for the Cincinnati men’s basketball team, and his uncle Cameron served as the head coach at Seattle University for eight seasons from 2009 to 2017.
