Tyler Turner is in his first year as an intern athletic trainer at the University of Richmond. Turner assists with medical care for the football and tennis programs.
Before joining the University of Richmond, Turner earned his Master of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida. He served as the head athletic trainer for Columbia High School and the graduate assistant athletic trainer for Santa Fe College from 2018-2020.
Turner received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Pittsburgh. From 2017-2018, he worked as a student athletic training intern for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Turner is a Certified Athletic Trainer through the BOC, licensed in Virginia, and a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. He is native of Eldersburg, Maryland and currently resides in Richmond.
