Richmond Drops First Contest of the Season

IOWA CITY, Iowa - The Spiders fell in their first contest of the season, a 3-0 decision to Boston University. Richmond will face the University of Iowa in the consolation game of the Iowa Invitational on Sunday.
Boston University scored two goals in the first half and added another in the second for the difference.The Terriers took 20 shots on goal while the Spiders could only manage four shots at the cage. Richmond senior goalkeeper Brooke Fuller (Ashland/Ashland, Mass.) made 10 stops.
