RICHMOND, Va. - University of Richmond junior forward Heather Rice (Oklahoma City, Okla./Heritage Hall) has been named first-team Colonial Athletic Association as voted on by league's head coaches. It is Rice's second appearance on the First-Team as she grabbed the honor in 1999 as well. Senior goalkeeper Brooke Fuller (Ashland, Mass./Ashland) garnered second-team honors.
Rice led the team in points (41), goals (19) and shots (134) this past season. She tallied 19 goals on the year, seventh best in Division I and third highest in the highly competitive Colonial Athletic Association. The Oklahoma City native is on pace to become Richmond's all-time leader in goals and total points.
Fuller collected 172 saves on the season while allowing 2.8 goals per game. Fuller started every game in goal for the Spiders. She had a save percentage of .746 while posting two shutouts.
